As Two Worlds Collide
(working title only)
project status:
Currently in development and pre-production stages.
synopsis:
An 80-minute feature length documentary providing a unique insight into modern day Amazonian life. A story eloquently portrayed and told through the eyes of Peruvian indigenous natives, it will reveal how their lives are being threatened to the brink of physical extinction, to fuel the illusion of our only possible subsistence; oil. With their lands being auctioned off to international oil giants, we will witness heroic attempts to save their homeland and ways of life. In the context of rising oil prices, the race to secure the remaining oil reserves worldwide and a chorus of warnings regarding an imminent global climate catastrophe, this film presents a global human-interest story of disappearance or survival.
